This Borum "Industrial Quality" heavy-duty 10,000kg Air Jack/Support Stand runs entirely on compressed air. Air acts straight onto the piston to raise the load, and you control it with a simple UP/DOWN air valve. It's a reinforced pin-style jack and stand built to take heavy loads up to 10,000kg, which makes it ideal for serviciing trucks, buses, farm gear and earthmoving equipment. It adjusts to suit the job, with a 444mm minimum height (536mm once the locking pins are in), 292mm of lift, and up to 1298mm using the extension tube.
To reach the full 10,000kg it needs a 200psi air supply. Anything less lifts a lighter load.
It's built from high-grade steel and runs a sealed piston-and-cylinder setup. The piston and ram are hardened, treated and polished, so they stand up to heavy, repeat use.
Once it's up at the right height, the load locks onto the steel pins, so it isn't sitting on air pressure alone. The manual is firm on this: pin the post and exhaust the air before anyone works on, under or around the load. A safety valve and an exhaust silencer are built into the air circuit.
The whole unit is built for hard industrial use. A rugged steel frame is finished in lead-free paint across every surface to handle long-term wear and help keep rust at bay. That finish also shrugs off oil, grease and dirt, so it wipes clean in seconds.
Built with the best components from the highest grades of rugged steel, to the wear-resistant advanced technology sealing rings and a heavy duty hydraulic pump that's filled with industrial grade high/low temperature-resistant hydraulic oil.
