TQB Brands Pty Ltd (ABN 20 932 104 369) (“TQB Brands“, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Information we collect
The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with us. Casual browsing requires no account and collects only limited technical data; trade customers with a portal account provide more.
1. Website visitors (general browsing)
When you visit the site, our web server and cookies automatically receive standard technical information, including your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, the pages you view, and the site you came from. This is used to serve the site securely and reliably, and (through the analytics and advertising technologies described below) to understand how our site is used and to measure our marketing.
2. Product Selector tool (“MIGUEL”)
Our interactive product-selector tool records the answers and selections you make and the recommendations it returns, together with a date/time stamp and — if you are logged in to a trade account — your account ID. It does not record your name, email or IP address. We use this internally to understand which products customers are looking for and to improve the tool. It is not shared with anyone outside TQB Brands.
3. “Where to Buy” stockist locator
The Where to Buy page uses a third-party mapping service to help you find your nearest stockist. When the map loads, your IP address is shared with that provider. If you choose “use my location”, your device’s approximate geographic location is also used to centre the map (with your browser’s permission). We do not store your location on our servers.
4. Enquiry, contact and marketing-request forms
Where we provide contact, product-recall, marketing-request or careers forms, submitting one will provide us with the details you enter — typically your name, company, email address, phone number, and the content of your message or request. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address for that purpose.
5. Requesting trade (portal) access
To apply for a B2B trade account you provide your first and last name, work email address, company name, ABN, phone number, and any additional information you include. We store this request and use it to assess and set up your account. Accounts are not created automatically — our staff review every request.
6. Trade account holders
If you hold a trade account, we hold your account contact details (name, email, phone number, job title/role) and your email-notification preferences. Your account is linked to a company record which may include the company name, ABN, phone number, account/ERP code, pricing level, and billing and delivery addresses. Actions taken in the portal and in your account (such as updating your details, submitting an order, or enrolling in a program) are recorded in an internal activity log that includes the date/time, the account involved, and the IP address from which the action was made. This log helps us maintain security and account accuracy.
7. Orders and deliveries
When you place a trade order, we collect the billing and delivery information needed to fulfil it — contact name, company, email, phone, and delivery address(es), along with the products and quantities ordered and any delivery notes. Order records also capture the IP address and browser information used to place the order.
8. Priced Product Guide (PPG) program
If your company enrols in the PPG program, we collect the authorising contact’s name and phone number, your acceptance of the program Terms & Conditions (with a date/time stamp), and an electronic signature. The signature is embedded into a PDF enrolment-confirmation record which we retain as evidence of the authorisation; we do not keep the signature as a separate file. PPG orders additionally record the delivery destinations, quantities and notes you provide.
9. Uploaded artwork and files
The PPG artwork tools let you upload artwork and logo files. These files are stored securely on our server, linked to your company account, and used only to prepare your PPG materials. Deleted files are held in a protected recycle area for 30 days and then permanently removed.
10. Feedback / “Report a Problem”
If you report a problem through the portal, we collect the details you describe together with your browser user-agent and your account identity (name, email, company) so we can investigate and respond.
11. Public stockist directory listings
Enrolled companies may choose to publish a stockist listing on our public Where to Buy directory. Any details you add to that listing — such as business name, address, phone number, email and website — are published publicly on the website at your direction.
How we collect it
- Directly from you — when you complete a form, apply for or use a trade account, place an order, upload files, or contact us.
- Automatically — through your browser, our web server, cookies, and analytics and advertising technologies, when you use the site.
- From our staff and systems — account and company records (such as ERP account codes, pricing levels and addresses) may be created or updated by our team as part of managing your trading relationship.
How we use it
- To operate, secure and maintain the website and your account.
- To assess trade-access applications and manage trade accounts and company records.
- To process and deliver orders and PPG enrolments and materials.
- To respond to your enquiries, requests, feedback and product-recall matters.
- To send account, order and program notifications, and — where you have opted in — our newsletter.
- To keep internal records and activity logs for accountability, security and fraud prevention.
- To understand product interest and improve our website, tools and range.
- To measure website usage and the performance of our marketing, and to deliver relevant advertising, using analytics and advertising technologies.
- To meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.
Automated decisions
We do not use automated processes or profiling to make decisions that have a legal, or similarly significant, effect on you. Decisions about trade-account applications, pricing levels and credit are made by our staff, not by automated means. Tools such as our Product Selector (“MIGUEL”) only suggest products for your consideration and do not make a decision about you.
Cookies & similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them to keep the site working, to keep you signed in, to remember your cart and certain preferences, and — together with similar technologies such as pixels/tags — to measure site usage and marketing performance. We also use your browser’s local storage for some functional features (for example, caching stockist map data and remembering your marketing-material selections). The cookies set on our website are described below by function.
| Cookie type | Purpose | Category | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Authentication | Keeps you securely signed in to your account and the trade portal. | Essential | Session, up to 14 days with “remember me” |
| Preferences | Remembers display and interface preferences for signed-in users. | Functional | Up to 1 year |
| Shopping cart | Remembers the items in your cart. | Essential | Session |
| Checkout session | Links your browser to your cart and checkout session data. | Essential | ~2 days |

| Order source / attribution | Records how you arrived at our site (e.g. a referring site or campaign) so an order can be attributed to its source. First-party only. | Analytics / attribution | Up to ~6 months |
| Analytics & advertising | Set by our third-party analytics and advertising partners to measure how the site is used and how our marketing performs, and to deliver and measure relevant advertising. These may recognise your device across different websites. | Analytics / advertising | Varies by provider (session up to ~2 years) |
| Comments | Only if you post a comment: remembers your name and email for the comment form. | Functional | ~1 year |
Some analytics and advertising cookies are set by third-party providers and may recognise your device across different websites. Where a page loads resources from an external provider (see Who we share information with), that provider may set its own cookies when its content loads in your browser.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of many advertising cookies through your browser or the relevant providers’ own controls. Where the law requires your consent for non-essential cookies, we will seek it. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in or using the cart and checkout.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the website and our business, including with the categories of service providers below:
| Type of recipient | Why | What is shared |
|---|---|---|
| Email delivery provider | Delivers our outgoing email (account, order, program and enquiry notifications). | Recipient email address and the contents of the email. |
| Mapping provider | Powers the “Where to Buy” stockist locator. | Your IP address, and optional map/location interactions on that page. |
| Web font & asset providers (content delivery networks) | Serve a web font and an icon library used on the site. | Your IP address when those resources load. |
| Analytics & advertising providers | Measure website usage and the performance and delivery of our marketing, and deliver relevant advertising. | Online identifiers, cookie/device data, IP address, and your activity on our site. |
| Document-conversion service | Converts uploaded Word (DOCX) artwork to PDF when our own server cannot (fallback only). | The artwork file you upload (not billing or contact data). |
Our website software may also send anonymous, non-personal usage statistics to its provider; this does not include your personal information. We may also disclose personal information to our professional advisers, or where required or authorised by law.
Overseas disclosure
Some of the service providers above (including our analytics and advertising providers) operate or store data outside Australia (for example, in the United States). By using the site and its features, you acknowledge that your information may be processed overseas by these providers for the purposes described. We take reasonable steps to ensure such providers handle your information appropriately.
Payments
This website does not process online card payments and does not collect or store credit-card or bank-card numbers. Trade orders are handled on account. Please do not send card numbers to us by email or through website forms.
Storage & security
We take reasonable steps — including technical and organisational measures — to protect personal information from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. These include encrypted (HTTPS) connections, role-based access controls, a vetted and approval-only trade portal, access-restricted upload folders, and file access that is limited to your own company account. Uploaded files are stored on our server and are not publicly listed. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How long we keep it
- Account and company records — for the life of the trading relationship and as required for our business and legal obligations.
- Order and PPG records — retained to meet tax and business record-keeping requirements.
- PPG enrolment confirmations (including signature) — retained as evidence of the authorisation given.
- Uploaded artwork — kept while relevant to your account; deleted files are purged after 30 days.
- Activity/audit logs — retained for security and accountability.
- Product-selector (MIGUEL) records — retained for internal analytics.
When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
Your rights & choices
You may ask us to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct information that is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete;
- Delete information, where we are not required to keep it for legal, tax or legitimate business reasons; and
- Opt out of marketing emails, and of analytics/advertising cookies, at any time (via the unsubscribe link, your browser controls, or by contacting us).
Trade account holders can review and update many of their details directly in the portal. To make a request, or if you have a privacy concern, contact our Privacy Officer using the details below. There is no charge to make a request. We may first need to verify your identity, and we will respond within a reasonable time and in any event within 30 days. If we are unable to give you access or make a correction, we will explain why. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party websites (for example, external asset libraries, safety-recall listings, or stockist websites). This policy does not cover those sites; please review their own privacy policies.
Children
This is a business-to-business website intended for trade customers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our website and services change. We will post the updated version here with a revised “Last updated” date.
