Description
Match this cooler to the conditions. Evaporative cooling relies on low humidity, so output is strongest on hot, dry days and noticeably reduced when the air is already humid. Where those conditions suit, it handles area cooling or spot cooling in workshops, factories, laundries, schools and agricultural sheds where traditional cooling methods are impractical or cost-prohibitive.
The centrifugal blower moves up to 5,000 cubic metres of air per hour, enough to cover an effective area of 20 to 40m2. A rotary dial sets three fan speeds, low, medium and high, and the synchronous swing louvre sweeps the cooled air across the space or holds it on a single work bay. Working range is 18 to 45°C.
The one-piece moulded polyethylene housing is weather resistant and will not crack, rust or leak, which matters for a unit that holds 50 litres of water. A level gauge shows what is left, a manual inlet handles filling, and an adjustable flow and drain valve controls water use and emptying. Braked castors move the 22kg unit between bays.

Intended Use
This equipment is intended for cooling industrial or trade workshop and office environments. Best used in hot dry climates where the humidity is low, evaporative coolers are generally suitable for areas with dry summers, although their effectiveness will be reduced during occasional periods of high humidity weather. This product is an Industrial Product and not suitable for household use.

Important note
Water Consumption can increase by 300% due to ‘Relative Humidity’
Evaporative Coolers operate by combining a variable airflow and water evaporation. How much water is used (Water Consumption) depends on the ‘Relative Humidity’ of the day and the fan speed setting to meet the required cooling levels.
Relative Humidity (rh) is the ratio of the amount of water (as vapour) actually contained in the air to the maximum amount of water vapour that could be contained at the same temperature (saturation). For example, at 50%(rh), the air contains 50% of the maximum (100%) amount of moisture (water vapour) that it could contain at the same temperature.
Therefore when the relative humidity level is low all Evaporative Cooling units may consume a more significant amount of water (up to 300% more) than higher relative humidity ratio conditions.
