TradeQuip Stainless Steel Wet Blasting Cabinet 400 Litre

The TradeQuip 'Made for the Trade' Stainless Steel Wet Blasting Cabinet mixes the abrasive media with water instead of blasting it dry. The water greatly reduces the harmful dust of dry blasting, and the surface it leaves is smoother and more polished, meeting high-quality finishing standards. It rapidly removes oxides and contaminants to speed up production, and suits a wide range of materials including metal, glass, ceramics and plastic.

The 400 litre cabinet is constructed from 304 grade stainless steel, with a 900 x 610 x 800mm working space and a work grid rated to 70kg. Two 12W LED lights and a large viewing window with a self-cleaning wiper keep the work in clear view. A foot pedal starts the blasting gun, and a door switch only lets it run when the cover is fully closed. After blasting, a separate cleaning gun rinses the parts with clean water.

It has a 550W pump running on 230V power and a 7mm blasting nozzle, and runs on 60-116psi (4-8 bar) compressed air set with the air regulator and pressure gauge on the front. The tank holds 40-60 litres of water mixed with abrasive media at a ratio of 4:1 to 6:1, and separate drain valves let the water and the media be drained off separately when the solution is changed.
