The premium-quality, large diameter hydraulic steel cylinder unit results in lower oil pressure needed to raise the load. A built-in bypass device protects the hydraulic system from over-pumping damage.

The jack features a safety overload valve installed between pump and check valve. When attempting to raise a load greater than the jack's capacity, the safety valve opens on each pump stroke and diverts any further oil back to the reservoir thus preventing the raising of the load.
